MANILA -- Veteran actress-singer Sharon Cuneta broke her silence on persistent rumors that her marriage with husband Senator Francis "Kiko" Pangilinan is on the rocks.
Speculations about problems in her personal life started after some netizens noticed that the actress has become quite emotional on social media. On Sunday, she even cried on the variety show "ASAP."
In an interview with ABS-CBN News and other members of entertainment media on Monday, Cuneta was again asked about her marriage with Pangilinan.
"People will always speculate so whether I deny or I admit or give a reason and say something else, they will always believe what they want to believe.
But the "Ang Pamilyang Hindi Lumuluha" star also admitted that she is dealing with several problems.
Despite this, she assured her fans that she's "okay."
"Please don't worry about me. I'd been to and through hell and back and I came out stronger. So whatever I'm going through now in my life, I will still come out strong and willing and happy to work," she said.
