MANILA, Philippines – Ahead of her congressional bid in the upcoming 2013 elections, feisty talent manager Annabelle Rama has held "consultations" with her potential constituents in the city of Cebu.

In hopes of getting elected to Congress representing the North District of Cebu, Rama has taken to social networking sites to chronicle her campaign trail since announcing her planned career shift.

On social networking site Facebook, Rama has posted albums showing her interaction with residents of different barangays in Cebu.

On micro-blogging site Twitter, Rama is also seen campaigning with incumbent Cebu City Mayor Mike Rama.

Apparently met with enthusiasm in her numerous barangay visits, the controversial talent manager has expressed gratitude to the residents who have welcomed her with open arms.

In late August, Rama detailed her experience visiting a number of barangays in the North District of Cebu. Among those she has visited, and where she has held dialogue with residents, are Atsungot, Sambag I, Mabolo, Busay and Lahug.

"Hindi sila makapaniwala na kumakatok ako sa pintuan nila. Na-meet ko iba’t ibang klaseng tao. Marami silang sinasabing mga reklamo sa kahirapan nila," she said in an earlier post on Twitter.

"I am very, very, very serious to run for Congress. Wala na makakapigil sa akin," Rama said.
