MANILA, Philippines - Comedian-host Vice Ganda on Thursday finally addressed rumors that he is romantically involved with former UAAP MVP Ryan Roose "RR" Garcia.

In an interview with ABS-CBN News, Ganda said Garcia of the Far Eastern University Tamaraws is just a "friend."

"Yung nasa picture kaibigan ko talaga, hindi ako sinungaling no," Ganda said.

Ganda believes that he has the right to keep matters of the heart private.

Ganda is always being teased by his co-hosts on "It's Showtime" of having a boyfriend who is a basketball player.

Aside from Garcia, Ganda is also being linked to FEU's Terrence Romeo.

Last July, Ganda was in full support of his alma mater, the Far Eastern University (FEU), as the Tamaraws took on the De La Salle Green Archers in the first round of the UAAP Season 75 men’s basketball tournament.

Ganda is an alumnus of FEU and often watches the school's basketball and volleyball games.
