Why Daniel Matsunaga lost 17 lbs inside 'PBB' house
MANILA - Brazilian-Japanese model and "Pinoy Big Brother: All In" winner Daniel Matsunaga was visibly skinnier after his 119 days in the big yellow house.
On Thursday's episode of "Kris TV", Matsunaga told host Kris Aquino and guest co-host Arnell Ignacio that he lost 17 pounds during his "PBB" stint.
He explained that a diet consisting of only vegetables -- a consequence of losing in a number of tasks inside the "PBB" house -- caused him to slim down.
"Seventeen pounds ang nawala in 119 days kasi puro talo kami sa task. So kapag talo, sa susunod na linggo, puro gulay. So nahirapan kami doon," Matsunaga said.
The model-actor, however, believes that he can easily regain weight now that he is out of the big yellow house.
"Kaya ko, kaya ko kapag may time," said Matsunaga, who loves to eat meat. "Ako puro meat because of working out... kailangan ng protein."
Meanwhile, Aquino shared that her youngest son, Bimby, believed that Matsunaga will win this season of "PBB".
"You know from the start, Bimb was saying, 'Tito Dan, he's going to win, Mama.' Sabi ko, 'Why, Bimb?' 'Because he is really a good person,'" Aquino told Matsunaga.
"That's a child. That's a seven-year-old and he was saying, 'let's all vote for him.' We all voted 30 times, naloka ako," she added.
