Baron finds new inspiration; gets tattoo
MANILA, Philippines -- Controversial actor Baron Geisler has found a new inspiration as he is now wooing a non-showbiz girl he met in one of his shoots.
"Nasa proseso pa lang ako, pero sana, sana. Ayaw ko munang magsalita baka maunsiyami. Nanliligaw pa lang," Geisler said In an interview with abs-cbnNEWS.com on Tuesday.
"She's very smart at ang ganda ng accent. Ngayon tawag tawag muna. That's it, that's enough basta inspired," he said at the press conference of his newest project, the horror film "Pridyider."
Geisler, who's been struggling to turn a new leaf after entering a rehabilitation facility last year for alcohol dependency, also got a tattoo of his favorite Bible verse: Romans 12:1-2.
"It's my favorite verse sa Bible. It says, 'I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God,'" Geisler said, quoting the Bible.
"Kasi nanggaling ako sa rehab. Right now I'm in the process of transformation, renewing of my mind. Kaya ko inilagay 'yan as a symbol na hindi ko dapat makalimutan kasi it's a constant battle for me and remind myself na 'hey huwag ka na mag-conform, hindi ka na yung dati,'" Geisler explained.
Geisler admitted that there are still times when he would fall into temptation.
"May mga pagkakataon na natatalo din ako. Ang tinuro naman sa akin sa rehab kumbaga huwag ka ng mag-wallow, 'yung magpaikot-ikot sa putik. I'm not perfect. Tao lang ako nagkakamali pero ang maganda na natutunan ko sa rehab ay tayo agad, tayo agad,'" he said.
