Daniel is 'PBB: All In' big winner
MANILA -- (UPDATED) -- Model Daniel Matsunaga was named the big winner of "Pinoy Big Brother: All In" in the reality show's "Big Night" at Resorts World Manila on Sunday.
Matsunaga got 11.69% of viewers' votes.
The Brazilian celebrity housemate believes it is because of his love for the Philippines and its people that made viewers vote for him.
"Some people would think na hindi ako Filipino, pero I am so much more proud to be Filipino at heart than many others out there na hindi proud sa country," he said after he was announced the winner.
He also said his "PBB"experience was the "craziest experience" of his life.
"I’m really, really happy to see a lot of people. It’s been a long time, I haven’t seen your faces, so happy to be here. And I’m thankful, first to God, who gave me this opportunity. One day sinabi Niya sa akin na I have a purpose dito sa Pilipinas, and I guess this purpose is today. Mahal na mahal ko kayo. Thank you for all the love. Love you, guys," Matsunaga added.
He entered the famous yellow house in May, replacing the housemates who were booted out during the show's first live eviction night.
Matsunaga was seen as the other "big brother" in the house as he constantly shared his advice with the other younger housemates.
The 25-year-old was also seen as a heavy favorite after proving to be diligent and reliable when it came to the weekly tasks. He also quickly earned the admiration of his fellow housemates.
Maris is No. 2
Teen Maris Racal was the second big placer with 3.1% of net text votes.
She was welcomed by her mother and father, who have recently been married inside the PBB house.
When asked what she can advise other teenagers, Racal replied: "Dream big. 'Yun lang, dream big. I love you too. Grabe, 'di ko inexpect 'to."
The 16-year-old, who is described as Davao's "Singing Sunshine," repeatedly showed off both her vocal chops and guitar-playing skills on the show.

Actress Jane Oineza was named third big placer with -0.73% of viewers' votes.
Oineza, who was welcomed by her mother and younger brother, said she learned to be patient while inside the famous yellow house.
"Siguro po, ‘yung paniniwala lang sa sarili, pagtitiwala, at saka, ano po, patience po," she said when asked of the lessons she learned from her stint on the show. "Basta may patience, feeling ko mararating naman talaga ang pangarap na inaasam. Salamat sa lahat ng sumuporta sa akin. Salamat, guys."

Rushton, dubbed as Bacolod's "Lady Mahinhin," entered the house as a shy and timid woman. But on Sunday, she advised other shy people not to be afraid or ashamed of anything.
"Wala kayong dapat ikatakot at ikahiya. Kasi ako lumaki ako na marami akong kinakatakutan, kaya minsan may itinatago ako, kaya ngayon dito sa 'PBB' 'yun po ang natutunan ko, wala ka dapat ikatakot," Rushton said.
She was only 8 when her parents separated, and prior to joining the competition, her mom went blind. She finally got see her father again when he visited the yellow house, but was not able to speak with him.
