Jodi talks about her in-laws the Lacsons
Actress Jodi Sta.Maria-Lacson, wife of senator Panfilo Lacson's son Panfilo Lacson Jr., said that she's really blessed to have a vey wonderful child and a very loving and supportive husband.
Sta. Maria who's now working on her fourth independent film said that she's not having a problem balancing his time for her family and doing the craft that she really, really love -- acting.
"Balance lang time management and I'm really happy kasi very supportive ang husband ko at walang problema sa kanya," she said.
The actress said that though she's busy with showbiz commitments she still knows her priorities in life.
"Number one ang priority ko ay ang family ko pero iba lang 'yung fulfuillment na nabibigay ng job ko ito talaga ang job na gusto ko," Jodi said.
Jodi is also happy that her husband's family, the Lacsons really understand and supports the work she's doing.
"Actually 'yung family naman niya walang problema sa work na ginagawa ko swerte ako, very supportive and understanding ang husband ko na hinahayaan niyang gawin ko ‘yung gusto kong gawin," she added.
As a loving mother and a submissive wife, Jodi shares that there are now limits to what she does as an actress.
"Siyempre hindi ako pwedeng magpa-sexy at palagay ko hindi na din uubra. May mga bagay akong pwedeng gawin pero may limitasyon na," she said.
Jodi who is a very proud mom to her 3-year-old son "Thirdy" shared that as much as possible she always tries to bring her son with her during shooting or taping to make sure that she can always guide him and to always feel her love.
Jodi, who plans to have two to three kids only, said that she would like to have another baby after two to three years from now.
"(Si Thirdy) he's tunring 3 pa lang... siguro kapag 4 or 5 years old na siya... pero ngayon gusto ko muna siyang i-enjoy. So sa akin siya muna," the mother said.
She said that aside from having a good family she's really fulfilled with her work and achievements as an actress.
Jodi who is set to do another television series with ABS-CBN is now doing indie film titled "Cul-de-Sac", a suspense film from Cinemabuhay. Jodi starts with actress Chin-Chin Gutierrez and actors Albert Martinez and Sam Milby.
"Dito ako si Raquel inosenteng babe na nagta-trabaho sa call center na makakakurs ng landas ni Sam. Maganda ang twist ng story and if your going to read the script kahit apat lang kaming sa story lahat may kanya kanyang level ng pagiging mysterious and at the end masusurprise kasa mga mangyayri," she said.
