MANILA - "The Gifted" star Anne Curtis' millions of followers on Twitter were left puzzled after an uncharacteristic message was sent from her account on the micro-blogging site on Tuesday.

At around 6:30 p.m., Curtis' account tweeted, unedited: "Ngayon ko lang na realize sobrang gwapo ni Manzano! he is sooooooo HOT"

About two hours later, the 29-year-old actress claimed in another tweet that her account had been hacked. Curtis shared "clues" as to the hacker's identity, including that they were just taping for the morning game show "The Singing Bee."

The post read, unedited: "NaHACK twitter ko by a vain tabachingching guy who I just did Singing Bee with. Sino kaya ito? Hmmmmm"

Earlier on Tuesday, Curtis taped her guest appearance on "The Singing Bee" with actor-host Manzano and performer Iya Villania, among others.

Curtis and Manzano, who were onscreen partners for a time, are known to be close friends. In interviews, Curtis refers to the TV host by his last name.

On his own Twitter page, Manzano responded to Curtis' tweet about the supposed hacker, sharing his guess as to the culprit's identity.

With over 6.8 million followers, Curtis' Twitter account is the most-followed in the Philippines. It ranks 162nd worldwide, above the respective pages of Hollywood stars Channing Tatum, Tom Cruise, and Hugh Jackman, among others, according to Twitter Counter.
