MANILA - Film director Cathy Garcia-Molina grilled the remaining six housemates of "Pinoy Big Brother: ALL IN."
The director entered the house to help the housemates to do their weekly task of doing a short film.
Molina, who directed hit films such as "She's Dating The Gangster" and "One More Chance", asked the housemates to reveal why they joined PBB.
"If ever po na kung matanggap, paglabas ko dito mas may malaking opportunities sa buhay showbiz kunwari," Maris Racal said.
"That I can do it," Jane Oineza said.
Joshua Garcia admitted he joined PBB for monetary reasons. "Para sa akin pumasok ako dito para sa family ko at papa ko na nawalan ng trabaho."
In the end, Molina explained why she asked the housemates to open up about their real motives for joining the reality show.
"The reason why I asked is because in everything that you do, it always matters kung bakit niyo ginagawa ang isang bagay. Tatanggapin ko ang dahilan niyo pero ako all I see is kaya ka sasali sa mga ganito is one, whether you want to be an actress. You want to be popular. You want to earn but it takes more than joining PBB to be able to make it out there. Show business is not that simple," she said.
Molina even singled out Oineza, who is already an actress.
"Jane has been there for quite sometime already kasi bata pa lang yan artista na yan and yet tignan mo, may narating na ba si Jane?May narating ka na ba?" Molina asked.
Oienza replied: Para sa akin wala pa po."
"Precisely. So what does it take? Jane is beautiful marunong namang umarte si Jane and yet why? Because precisely it's not all that," Molina said.
"You know what is the big part attitude. Ako I'd rather work with a hindi na magaling na artista pero willing matuto rather than a good actor who thinks he is already good. Aanhin ko naman ang magaling na artista kung papahirapan niya ako at ang buhay ng mga staff ko. How much do you want this? Kapag nasagot niyo kung gaano niyo kagusto ang bagay na ito ganoon din kalaki ang gagawin niyo to be able to achieve it," Molina said.
