MANILA -- Celebrity couple Coleen Garcia and Billy Crawford have been very vocal about their excitement for their wedding next year.
But following the buzz of Maja Salvador's black wedding on "Wildflower," is Garcia open to wearing a non-white gown on her special day?
"Hindi black 'yong gown ko ha," she told ABS-CBN News in an exclusive interview wduring the launch of the OPPO Concept Store in SM Aura last Saturday.
Garcia said as much as possible, she doesn't want to steal the spotlight from her groom.
"Ako kasi, as much as possible, it's not my event. It's not my milestone. It's mine and Billy's so ayoko namang manapaw sa kulay," she added. "I want it to be our day, our special day. It's a day that we're sharing together."
Garcia described herself as a "simple bride," who only wants a simple wedding with the man of her life.
When asked if they are planning to have a baby right away, Garcia said they might need some time to solidify their foundation as a married couple first.
"Maybe it will take two years to really know each other as a married couple. Para we will know how to handle ourselves better as a team," she explained.
Last June, the bride-to-be graced the cover of a local wedding magazine where she wore various all-white gowns.
