MANILA - Are you hoping to follow in the footsteps of Mitoy Yonting or Lyca Gairanod? This coming weekend is your last chance to join the second season of "The Voice of the Philippines."
On its official social media accounts, the ABS-CBN program announced that it will hold auditions at Island City Mall in Tagbilaran, Bohol on August 16, and at the ABS-CBN Center Road in Quezon City on August 17.
Both audition dates will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and are open to hopefuls 16 years old and above.
"The Voice of the Philippines" earlier held auditions in Visayas, Mindanao and Metro Manila in January, and in other parts of Luzon in February.
The format of the show for artists aged 8 to 14 years old, "The Voice Kids," concluded last July 27 with 9-year-old Gairanod besting fellow Team Sarah bet Darren Espanto, Team Bamboo's Juan Karlos Labajo, and Team Lea's Darlene Vibares.
The fourth coach for the new season of "The Voice of the Philippines" has yet to be announced, although Lea Salonga, Sarah Geronimo and Bamboo Manalac have signed up to return.
