MANILA - Kuh Ledesma will reunite later this year with the band that paved the way for her solo career, which now spans 35 years.
The 59-year-old singer will stage a concert with her old band, Music & Magic, on October 3 at the PICC Plenary Hall in Pasay, producer Viva Live announced on its Facebook page Thursday.
Ticket prices to the show, dubbed "Trending Music & Magic: The Reunion," range from P400 to P4,500.
Ledesma, who has released over 20 studio albums, started her music career when she joined a band called Lastiko in her hometown in Bacolod.
Together with bandmates Toto Gentica and Jet Montelibano, Ledesma formed Music & Magic in Manila. Here, the band established itself as a live circuit favorite.
Its success helped Ledesma bag the lead role in the pop ballet "Rama Hari" in 1980. Not long after, Ledesma became a solo artist with the release of the hit "Dito Ba?" from the movie "Miss X."
