The former Kapamilya actress on Saturday filmed an episode of a drama anthology that airs on the No. 3 network, according to a report from the Philippine Star.
Barretto reportedly co-stars with actor Jay Manalo for the upcoming TV appearance, which was partly shot in Marikina City.
With her contract as a GMA-7 talent now expired, Barretto is free to do projects with competing networks, such as TV5 and ABS-CBN, her home network for 17 years until her transfer to GMA-7.
Joining Tulfo brods
In 2009, Barretto became an exclusive talent of GMA-7 where she appeared in a number of series and a self-titled drama anthology, until her contract expired early this year.
The actress' potential transfer to TV5 will see her working in the same company as the Tulfo brothers Raffy, Ben, Erwin and Mon, with whom she and her husband Raymart Santiago have an ongoing legal battle.
The controversial spat started when Santiago's party and Mon Tulfo figured in a brawl at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 in May.
Following the publicized fist fight, Mon's three brothers, who host a news program on TV5, threatened the Santiago couple during a live broadcast of their program.
