Alex Gonzaga and Ryan Bang
MANILA -- Actress Toni Gonzaga thinks her sister Alex may have led comedian Ryan Bang into believing that she is also attracted to the "It's Showtime" host.
Pero from the start, ako alam ko na it was just friendship pero lumabas na ganoon (parang pinaasa)," Toni said.
"So I told her, 'Alex, this is a lesson learned for you na next time you have to choose the people na you will entertain in your life kasi baka iba ang intention nila.' So nagmumukha kang nagpapaasa," she said.
In July, Alex shot down Bang's hopes on live TV when, during the "Sine Mo 'To" segment of "It's Showtime," Gonzaga reiterated that she only wants to be friends with the comedian.
"Never kitang pinaasa kaya huwag ka magsabi ng asa-asa diyan," she told him.
Bang had admitted that he was hurt when Alex turned him down.
For Toni, however, her sister was just being frank and transparent.
I think she learned a lot from that whole experience," she said.
"Tapos sabi niya 'Okay, ate.
What is important now, Toni said, is that everything is okay between Alex and Bang. "Okay na sila, nag-usap na sila," she said.
Bang is now reportedly in a relationship with a non-showbiz girl.
