MANILA, Philippines – Top-rating variety show “ASAP 2012” welcomed singer Zsa Zsa Padilla back to the show on Sunday.

This after Padilla and daughter Zia Quizon took a leave to take care of the ailing Comedy King Dolphy until he died last July 10.

The show’s mainstays, led by Gary Valenciano and Martin Nievera, serenaded Padilla by singing Dionne Warwick and Friends’ “That’s What Friends Are For.”

Padilla was then joined by Quizon on stage as they sang a duet of “The Glory of Love.”

Padilla said she terribly missed her “ASAP” family after she was gone from the show to attend to the needs of Dolphy, her partner for 23 years.

“It feels so great to be back here, I missed my ‘ASAP’ family. Thank you very much for having Zia and I here again,” she said.

Quizon, for her part, said: “It just feels great to be back at work and here, which is like our second home na.”

Aside from doing a song number, Padilla also showed her tattoo, which is placed near her left wrist, as a tribute to her long-time partner.

Padilla said in her tweet last week that she decided to get inked to immortalize Dolphy on her skin.
