MANILA, Philippines – Actor Matteo Guidicelli and actress Maja Salvador asked the public to respect their privacy following Salvador's admission last week that they have parted ways.
In a joint statement sent to “The Buzz” on Sunday, Salvador and Gudicelli said they remain friends despite having decided to end their relationship.
Both said they are hoping the public would understand if they don’t want to talk about it.
The two are also hoping the public would just leave the matter to them as they move on with their respective lives.
“It’s been a month since we decided to end our relationship pero mananatili kaming magkaibigan. We both pray for your patience and understanding as we both move on with our respective private and public lives,” they said.
Last week, Salvador admitted on “Kris TV” that she and Guidicelli already called it quits.
Salvador, however, was quick to say that there was no third party involved in the break-up, saying it was a mutual decision to concentrate on their respective jobs.
"Sobrang magkaibigan kami.
