MANILA, Philippines - Comedian Vice Ganda faced the media Tuesday to put an end on his rumored death.
In an interview with “Showbiz News Ngayon," Vice cheerfully told everyone that he’s fine, and that nothing went wrong during his Hong Kong trip with showbiz friends Kris Aquino and Liz Uy.
“Safe na safe ako at magandang-maganda pa rin po ako. ‘Unkabogable’ po ako at hindi pa po ako mamamatay. Marami pa akong pasisiyahin na mga tao kaya dire-direcho pa rin ang happiness natin,” he exclaimed.
A rumor about Vice’s untimely demise spread like wildfire on Twitter Monday.
A @TADO_jimenez Twitter account, which is believed to be fake, posted tweeted, “OMG! VICE GANDA meet a car accdnt in HK& ddn’t survive the crash just today cnfirmd by pep.ph RIP VICE!”
A probe showed that the owner of the Twitter account is not comedian and former “Showtime” hurado Tado Jimenez.
Vice Ganda shrugged off the Twitter account, despite a past row he and Tado once had.
“Hindi si Tado ‘yon. Poser siguro ‘yon,” Vice said. -- Report from Cesca Litton, ABS-CBN News
