MANILA - "Moon of Desire" actress Ellen Adarna has clarified that there is no bad blood between her non-showbiz boyfriend and JC de Vera, her leading man in the hit afternoon series.

Speaking with ABS-CBN News' MJ Felipe on Friday, the 26-year-old actress said her partner, businessman Raoul Olbes, is on good terms not only with de Vera, but with the rest of the show's cast and crew members.

Asked if Olbes became jealous of her intimate scenes with de Vera, Adarna said: "Hindi, he's very supportive! Actually, he visits on set and alam naman niya na kapares ko si JC. Even if ako 'yung kontrabida, may mga kissing scenes kami, gano'n."

According to Adarna, there was even an instance when Olbes sought to speak with de Vera, supposedly to assure him that there is no reason to be concerned by his presence during taping.

"Parang kinausap niya si JC. Sabi niya, 'Huwag kang maging awkward sa akin, ha! It's all fine, it's all good, let's be friends.' Kinakaibigan niya. Actually, friends niya lahat ng mga tao on set," she said.

Whenever she is filming a sexy scene, Adarna said Olbes excuses himself and leaves, not because he minds her acting intimate with someone else, but out of the concern that her co-star might feel "awkward" with him around.

"There were times na akala niya... 'Baby, I left because I thought you were doing a kissing scene.' Natakot. Sabi ko, 'Baby, hindi! It wasn't a kissing scene. Fighting scene 'yon!' Natakot siya. 'I don't want people to feel awkward around me there,'" she said.

Adarna added: "Nahihiya siya. He doesn't visit pag may mga intimate moments or scenes, pero normal lang pag pumupunta siya."

Olbes' being supportive, according to Adarna, even extends to him giving tips on her acting. She recalled a time on set when her director wasn't satisfied with her performance, which prompted Olbes to give her some notes.

"Minsan nga, pag nag-a-action, nando'n siya sa system, and then pag 'yung director, 'Mali! Mali 'yan!' He goes to me and says, 'Baby, this is what you do.' Gano'n siya! Nakakatuwa," she said.

Although they have known each other for over six years now, Adarna and Olbes will only celebrate their first anniversary as a couple this month.

Pointing out that Olbes has been supportive not only of "Moon of Desire," but of her other other sexy projects, Adarna said, "With Raoul, I'm very lucky."
