Kris Aquino, mother of lead star Bimby Yap, shared the first behind-the-scenes look at the comedy film during the Friday episode of "Aquino & Abunda Tonight."
The first shooting day of "Praybeyt Benjamin 2," according to Aquino, took place in Antipolo.
Bimby filmed a scene with Vice Ganda, who will portray the lead character for a second time.
Joining Bimby and Vice Ganda in the movie is "Be Careful With My Heart" star Richard Yap. It is under the direction of Wenn Deramas, who is also behind the first film.
"Praybeyt Benjamin 2" marks Vice Ganda's third consecutive MMFF entry, after "Sisterakas" and "Girl, Boy, Bakla, Tomboy," which were also directed by Deramas.
Bimby, meanwhile, will join the festival for the second time after last year's "My Little Bossings."
Kris, who also starred in "Bossings," will also have an entry this year.
She will share the big screen with Coco Martin in the sequel 2004 horror film "Feng Shui" by Chito Rono.
