MANILA - Vice Ganda drew laughs on Tuesday as he joked about elevators and CCTV cameras in the presence of "It's Showtime" co-host Vhong Navarro, whose legal complaint after his mauling early this year had CCTV footage of an elevator as evidence.

The comedian made the joke during the "Gandang Lalake" segment, where, before introducing a contestant, the co-hosts are made to guess his profession based on an image of an object he uses in his job.

This time, the image shown was of a laptop.

Making his guess, Vice Ganda said: "Nagbabantay ng CCTV, nagbibilang ng pumapasok sa elevator, puwede din. Trabaho 'yon, eh. May bayad 'yon! May nakaabang talaga, 'yung security department. Nando'n 'yan. Thank you at naitago niyo ang CD!"

Navarro, who was standing beside Vice Ganda, smiled as the audience laughed. He quickly switched topics when he mentioned another guess -- a hacker.

Three of the accused in Navarro's mauling in January -- Deniece Cornejo, Cedric Lee, and Simeon "Zimmer" Raz, Jr. -- are currently detained after being charged with serious illegal detention.

Throughout the episode of "It's Showtime," Vice Ganda appeared to be on a roll as he made several more jokes that had the audience cheering, including the "injustice" of allowing co-hosts Billy Crawford and Coleen Garcia to be in a relationship, while he cannot have the same with fellow mainstay Jhong Hilario.
