MANILA -- More than a year since she came out as a lesbian on national TV, singer Charice is still hoping to end the rift with her mother, who expressed her disappointment with her daughter's relationship with fellow singer Alyssa Quijano.
In her latest attempt to reach out to her mother, Charice had her mother's name "Raquel" tattooed on her right wrist.
The singer showed off her newest tattoo on her official Instagram account on Tuesday, which showed her enjoying target shooting.
This is not the first time Charice got a tattoo. In 2012, before coming out as a lesbian, she surprised her Pinoy fans when she got a tattoo on her left forearm to go with with her then-short blonde hair.
Two months, she got another tattoo, supposedly to remind her of a heartbreak.
