MANILA - Team Sarah singers Morissette Amon and Lecelle Trinidad performed Donna Summer's "No More Tears (Enough is Enough)" in the third of four battle rounds of "The Voice of the Philippines" shown on Sunday.
"Uminit yata yung stage," said Bamboo Mañalac after the performances. "Ang ganda how you complemented each other."
While Mañalac said both singers were good, he thought it was Morissette who stood out.
Lea Salonga chose Lecelle, citing how the singer matched the performance of Morissette.
"Umpisa pa lang, parang Morissette exploded out to the gate. But I was also watching Lecelle and she was sizing up her opponent," Salonga said.
Team Sarah guest adviser Gary Valenciano also praised how Lecelle has improved since they started rehearsing. But still, his choice was Morissette.
However, it all boiled down to the choice of coach Sarah Geronimo, who picked Morissette.
"Lecelle and Morissette, pareho ko kayong mahal pero ang talagang nag-shine tonight is Morissette."
