MANILA - "Pinoy Big Brother" housemate Vickie Rushton said she has doubts about where her relationship stands with actor Jason Abalos, following supposed issues raised during the visit of comedian Vice Ganda to the famous yellow house.
Before the "It's Showtime" co-host exited the house, he was given by Big Brother a choice as to who among the remaining housemates will be given a chance to send a text message to a loved one.
Noting Vickie's uncertainties about her relationship, Vice Ganda picked the 21-year-old from Bacolod, so she can contact Jason to clarify matters.
Vickie's doubts about Jason was caused, in part, by a text message from the actor shown to the housemates in an earlier episode. While Jason wished Vickie well, she noted that he did not say "I love you" in his message, as he usually would.
Prior to this, Vickie had been constantly teased with fellow housemate Daniel Matsunaga. At one point, the Brazilian-Japanese model had to explain that if he becomes interested in a woman who is in a relationship, he would be cautious not to develop romantic feelings for her.
Even then, with Vice Ganda's entry, both Vickie and Daniel were made aware of the perceived "romance" developing between them. Both denied this was the case. Daniel, however, admitted he was bothered that it was apparently an "issue" among viewers.
Vickie, who earlier opened up about her disappointments in her relationship, surmised that being linked with Daniel might have affected Jason.
In the episode of "Pinoy Big Brother" aired on Wednesday, Vickie appeared to have a difficult time composing a message to Jason to clarify their relationship. After seeking advice from teen housemate Loisa Andalio, Vickie finally settled on how to go about asking Jason.
Reading aloud her text message to Jason in the confession room, Vickie said: "Baba, kumusta? Busy ba sa work? Sana, kasi blessing 'yan. Sana okay and happy ka. Sobrang saya ko dito, pero dahil sa message mo, marami akong naiisip na nakaka-sad."
"Galit ka ba sa akin? Kung galit ka, gusto ko sana malaman kung bakit. Kung na-hurt man kita, sorry. Sorry sa mali ko. Hindi ko alam kung ano na ang nangyayari or kung okay pa ang lahat, pero sana maayos din. Huwag mo pabayaan sarili mo, ha. Pray ka lagi. I miss you and I love you."
Vickie noted that despite Jason not saying "I love you" in his message to her, she said the same anyway, explaining it is what she feels.
It has yet to be shown whether Jason replied to Vickie's message.
