MANILA - Actress Jane Oineza did not take well a remark by fellow "Pinoy Big Brother" housemate Joshua Garcia, who observed that she was supposedly being touchy with Manolo Pedrosa.
In the episode of the reality show on Wednesday, Jane appeared to be offended by Joshua calling her "Touchy Queen," as he watched the actress coach Manolo on dance steps for their upcoming concert.
Upon hearing Joshua's remark, Jane walked out and avoided speaking to the 16-year-old from Batangas until later that night, when he reached out to her to clarify matters.
Jane, however, only expressed her displeasure with Joshua, saying that just because she allowed him to have a close relationship with her does not mean he can treat her with less respect.
Joshua, in earlier episodes of "Pinoy Big Brother," expressed that he is interested romantically in Jane. However, the former "Goin' Bulilit" mainstay, while apparently accommodating of Joshua's affections, has said time and again that she only considers him a friend.
The following day, Jane appeared to still be distant to Joshua, despite him hugging her and trying to hold her hand. Asked by Joshua if she is annoyed at him, Jane said "No" but continued to behave coldly towards him.
It remains to be seen whether the two managed to patched things up before a party inside the house celebrating Jane's 18th birthday.
"Pinoy Big Brother: All In" airs weeknights on Primetime Bida, and on Saturdays and Sundays as part of ABS-CBN's Yes! Weekend line-up. Afternoon updates are also aired via "Uber" on weekdays.
