MANILA – Cameras have begun to roll for the third big screen team-up of Kim Chiu and Xian Lim.

This was revealed by the two Kapamilya stars in an interview with reporters on the sidelines of the Yahoo Celebrity Awards last week.

"Nagsimula na kami. We are excited. We started shooting already. So sa lahat po ng nag-aabang, malapit na po," Lim said.

The project with the working title "Past Tense" will be produced by Star Cinema and will be under the direction of Mae Cruz, who helmed Lim and Chiu's recent blockbuster, "Bride for Rent."

"For now, nandoon pa kami sa stage na breaking in our character. Wala pa masyadong moments sa story. Sa kasalukuyan, sinusulat pa po ang story. Pero towards the end, magkakaroon naman ng mas maraming moments," the actor said.

Asked if it bothers them that all their movies are romantic-comedy films, Lim said: "Isang karangalan yun. Being able to make people laugh and fall in love at the same time, siyempre masaya. It’s an honor."

Both Lim and Chiu are hoping their new project will replicate the success of their first two movies.

Aside from Chiu and Lim, comedienne Ai Ai Delas Alas will also be part of the movie. While the cast members have remained mum about the details of the story, Delas Alas said it will feature "some sort of love triangle."

Star Cinema has yet to announce the premiere date of "Past Tense".
