MANILA, Philippines -- The first team-up of primetime stars Coco Martin and Marian Rivera will definitely go without a hitch, said veteran actress Snooky Serna, who is set to stage her big screen comeback with the two.

Although they come from competing TV networks -- ABS-CBN and GMA 7, respectively -- Serna said Martin and Rivera will surely get along once they start working on their newest project under Regal Films.

During a press conference announcing her comeback as a talent of Regal Films and sister company Growl Entertainment, the 46-year-old actress said she is thankful to be given the chance to work with today's prime showbiz stars.

"I'm just very thankful talaga na this time of my life na makakasama ko si Coco Martin and of course si Marian Rivera, na hindi namin pwedeng basta-bastahin ang talento, ano, at maganda pa. And I'm sure magaling din makisama," she said on Friday.

Serna praised Martin, who currently topbills ABS-CBN's top-rating series "Walang Hanggan," for his looks, talent and personality.

"Ako ay isa sa mga tagahanga ni Coco Martin. I believe in his talent, and Coco is a very good-looking person. Higit pa doon, hindi lang naman kaguwapuhan ang tinitingnan at talento, 'yung kagandahan din ng kalooban," she said.

"Nakikita ko sa kanya, sa mga interviews pa lang niya, na para bang magaan siya katrabaho. At 'di niya bibigyan ng problema 'yung mga kasama niya sa trabaho," she added.

Serna's big screen project with Martin and Rivera will be directed by Mario J. delos Reyes. It is set for release later this year.
