MANILA -- 'Little Superstar' Lyca Garainod proved that she deserves to be in 'The Voice Kids' stage with her powerful voice as she sang a classic singing contest staple.

On the live episode of "The Voice Kids" on Saturday, Garainod sang 'Pangarap na Bituin', a piece often sung in singing contests.

Just like in her previous performances, the audience cheered loudly as Garainod once again proved her talent.

Coach Lea Salonga praised Garainod for her wonderful performance.

Magaling ka," Salonga said.

The coach added that her performance would make superstar Nora Aunor proud.

Geronimo also thanked Garainod for being an inspiration, and asked her fans to support her in the contest.

ADVICE FROM IDOL

Before her performance, Garainod watched a video of her idol, Angeline Quinto, greeting her and wishing her luck.

In her message, Quinto advised Garainod to sing from her heart.
