MANILA -- Four years after her runner-up finish on the first season of "Voice of the Philippines," Klarisse de Guzman will finally launch her debut album.
On Monday, de Guzman, who lost to Mitoy Yonting on the popular TV singing contest, officially inked a contract with Star Music.
"Masayang masaya po ako sa album ko at excited talaga ako na marinig niyo lahat," said de Guzman, who is one of the "Birit Queens" on the weekly show "ASAP."
"Actually 'yung mga song (sa album) ay mga hugot song. Alam ko maraming makaka-relate na listeners. At saka iba't ibang klase ng songs, iba't ibang pinagdadaanan, mayroong masaya, mayroong pang-heartbroken," she added.
De Guzman said her album will also feature her collaborations with other artists, including fellow "Voice of the Philippines" alumna Morisette Amon.
Produced by Rox Santos, de Guzman's album will be launched in August.
