MANILA – Kapamilya actress Anne Curtis has made it to the list of Time Magazine’s “50 Smartest Celebrities on Twitter.”
Curtis, who landed in the 28th spot, joined the ranks of international celebrities like Leonardo DiCaprio (1st), Jimmy Kimmel (3rd), Samuel L. Jacskson (6th), Jessie J (10th) and more in the said roster.
According to Time Magazine, they came up with the list by using a popular reading comprehension test known as Simple Measure of Gobbledygook (SMOG).
Time Magazine said SMOG “measures the number of three syllable words used in a text to calculate the years of education required to understand it.”
The magazine added the Top 50 celebrities all exceeded “a fourth-grade reading level.”
“SMOG is intended for processing English, so users tweeting in multiple languages were removed. Computer processing of natural language has its limitations. For example, the SMOG test can falsely read slang as multi-syllable words,” it said in its article published on Wednesday.
Curtis is the most-followed Twitter user in the Philippines with over six million people watching her every post.
Trailing behind her in terms of followers are Angel Locsin, Vice Ganda, Angelica Panganiban and KC Concepcion.
