Comedy King Dolphy
MANILA, Philippines -- Apart from being dubbed as the country's "King of Comedy," Dolphy was also tagged as "Bombilya King," supposedly because he was well-endowed.

In his book "Hindi Ko Ito Narating Mag-Isa," Dolphy explained that the tag started when he did the 1970 film "El Pinoy Matador" with Pilar Pilapil.

"Alam kong nabansagan akong bombilya, pero imposibleng dahil do'n.

In an interview for the defunct men's magazine Pump, the comedian was asked if the rumors about him being well-endowed were true.

Siguro 'yung mga babaeng nasasabihan, 'yung iba gustong careerin na, gustong subukan," he told the magazine's editor in chief Eric Ramos.

Aside from being a comedy icon, Dolphy is also known for his colorful love life, siring 18 children from different women.

Dolphy, however, died a bachelor on July 10 after years of battling pneumonia and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
