MANILA – Amid the issue that she was axed from “Banana Sundae,” Jessy Mendiola finally broke her silence and confirmed that she is no longer part of the Sunday gag show.
Mendiola, however, clarified that she wasn’t removed because she was supposedly forced to wear a sexy outfit that she didn’t like.
In an interview with entertainment site PEP after “ASAP” last Sunday, Mendiola said: “Sexy? Ha?
Nonetheless, Mendiola admitted that she and a wardrobe assistant had a misunderstanding which they have already settled.
Okay naman,” she said.
The actress also clarified reports that her boyfriend, Luis Manzano, helped both parties sort things out.
I think naman may kanya-kanya lang tayong sensitivity, how we are to other people, how we treat other people. Talagang magkaiba lang kaming tao, tapos nangyari,” she said.
While she is no longer part of the show, Mendiola said she will always treasure her time she spent with the “Banana Sundae” family.
“Tumagal din ako sa 'Banana Sundae,' ang dami kong natutunan, nag-enjoy akong magpatawa, mababait sila, sobrang family talaga sila," she said.
For now, Mendiola said she is gearing up for another project lined up for her.
