MANILA – Having portrayed several roles where she is the antagonist, Andi Eigenmann said she is not bothered that she might be typecast as a “kontrabida.”

Eigenamnn said it has always been her goal to give justice to every role she gets, whether it is the lead character or the villain.

“Hindi po ako natatakot because para sa akin, it’s just about being committed to your role entirely. Hindi po ako nagwo-worry na baka dito na lang ako ma-stuck or whatnot. 'Yung akin lang, kung ano ang ibigay sa akin, if I think I can do a good job at it, tatanggapin ko po siya,” she said.

Given this mindset, Eigenmann said she plans to just concentrate on the projects at hand.

“Gagawin ko lang ang best ko. Hindi ko iniisip kung saan papunta 'yun. I’m just going to concentrate on doing a good job on what is handed to me right now,” he said.

Eigenamann is currently part of the Kapamilya fantasy series “Dyesebel,” where she plays Betty Reyes, the kontrabida in the life of the mermaid.

Her "Dyesebel" role also marks the third time Eigenmann starred in a series inspired by a "komiks" classic after "Galema" and 2010's "Agua Bendita."

She also played the “kontrabida” in the series “Kahit Puso’y Masugatan.”
