MANILA, Philippines - Actor Epi Quizon shared the last words he told his father, King of Comedy Dolphy, who passed away on Tuesday night.

In an interview on Wednesday night, Epi said he told his dad not to be afraid.

"Huwag siyang matakot.

The actor said that although the family has accepted Dolphy's demise, they can't help but miss their father.

On Wednesday night, a mass and necrological service were held for Dolphy at ABS-CBN's Dolphy Theater.

I'm lost with words how to thank the Filipino all over the world, but thank you so much for the prayers. Thank you so much," he said.
