MANILA - Actress-host Kris Aquino is hoping that things will run smoothly as she works on the sequel of the 2004 horror film "Feng Shui" with Coco Martin.
On Wednesday's episode of "Kris TV," Aquino couldn't help but share that she prayed for her first movie project with Martin.
"Of course pinag-pray ko rin si Direk Chito (Roño), ako at si Coco, na magkasundo-sundo kami," she said.
"Kasi lahat kami medyo, you know, may kanya-kanya kaming ego sa trabaho so sana hindi kami magkabanggaan. Alam mo 'yung ganoon, 'yung sana ay magmahalan at magrespetuhan kami doon," she added.
Early this year, Aquino admitted that she had a role in the rift between Martin and Kim Chiu, who is now the actor's leading lady in the ABS-CBN primetime soap "Ikaw Lamang."
"He hated us talaga. Nag-naughty lang kami ni Kimmy. Matagal 'yon, parang one month niya kaming hindi kinibo," Aquino said, adding that she already apologized to Martin.
"Feng Shui" was the first in a series of horror hits that Aquino did for Star Cinema, earning her the tag "Box-office Horror Queen."
In the original movie, which earned more than P130 million at the box office when it was released, she played a wife who must save her family from a curse brought about by a "bagwa."
