Jasmine Curtis still 'innocent' for FHM
MANILA, Philippines – Young actress Jasmine Curtis-Smith, the younger sister of Kapamilya star Anne Curtis, said she is grateful to be named one of FHM’s "sexiest," even if she is still "innocent" at 18.
Curtis-Smith ranked 80 in the 2012 list of men's magazine FHM's "Sexiest Women in the World." The list, which ranks actress Sam Pinto at number 1, is the result of polling 17 million votes cast online.
"It's very flattering considering I've only been in the industry for a year and a half," she said of her inclusion on the annual list, speaking to entertainment talk show "Paparazzi."
"It's unbelievable pati sa FHM napasali ako, but I still don't consider myself to be of that level considering I'm still, you know, still young, still innocent, so I'm very happy naman that they consider me to be part of their list," Curtis-Smith said.
In the list's blurb on her debut ranking, the popular magazine said "waiting" for the celebrity sisters to pose for its pages "is going to kill [them]."
Since Anne started enjoying a revitalized showbiz career, the "It's Showtime" host has not once posed for the cover of FHM, unlike her contemporaries.
Like her "ate," Curtis-Smith doesn't seem to have plans to pose sexy for a men's magazine anytime soon. The young actress is currently busy juggling her career here and education overseas.
Asked if she has plans at least to stay put in the country for her adoring fans, Curtis-Smith said: "So far the plan is I'll continue studying whether it be here or in Australia, but if ever I [move here], I'm pretty sure I'll still be studying as I work."
