Cheridel Alejandrino, known to many as "Elevator Girl," is now officially part of the reality television show "Pinoy Big Brother"
MANILA - Cheridel Alejandrino, more popularly known as the "Elevator Girl," is now an official housemate of the reality television series "Pinoy Big Brother."
The former elevator operator, who entered the famous yellow house on June 14 replacing actress Alex Gonzaga, was a house guest for the past 3 weeks.
She officially became part of the competition after the housemates completed their weekly task, which involved taking care of a group of 5 children and teaching them a nursery rhyme.
Being an official housemate means that Cheridel can be evicted out of the competition, but can also be named this season's "Big Winner."
"Thank you po sa pagkakataon na ipinagkaloob ninyo sa akin. Lalo pong lumakas ang loob kong lumaban at kayanin ang mga pagsubok na ibibigay ninyo for my nanay and tatay, thank you so much," she told host "Kuya."
To celebrate her achievement, the other housemates surprised the newest housemate with confetti and a song, organized by the leaders of this week's task, Fourth Pagotan and Maris Racal.
With Cheridel, the show has now officially completed its top 10 housemates for this season, which includes celebrity housemate Daniel Matsunaga and teen actress Jane Oineza.
Manolo Pedrosa, brothers Fifth and Fourth Pagotan, Maris, Loisa Andalio, Vickie Rushton, and Joshua Garcia make up the rest of the remaining contestants vying for the title.
