MANILA - Actress Jodi Sta. Maria refuses to answer questions related to the family of her boyfriend, actor-politician Jolo Revilla.
Jolo is the son of Senator Ramon "Bong" Revilla Jr., who is detained at the Philippine National Police Custodial Center in Camp Crame for his alleged involvement in the pork barrel scam.
At the sidelines of the press conference for the "Be Careful With My Heart" thanksgiving concert on Friday, Sta. Maria said she would rather not address questions concerning the Revillas.
"I'd rather not comment about it but I'll be welcoming questions about the concert," she said.
The "Be Careful With My Heart" concert, which marks the daytime series' second year on television, will be held on July 25 at the Araneta Coliseum.
In a previous interview, Sta. Maria said she is one in prayer with the Revilla family.
"Siyempre the family is going through a tough time right now. Siguro ang maibibigay na lang natin sa kanila is our prayers. I stand with them naman in prayer," she said.
No wedding plans for now
Meanwhile, Sta. Maria reacted to rumors that the extended run of "Be Careful," which was originally meant to stay on air for three months, is delaying her plans to get married again.
"Wala naman akong plans na magpakasal. Maayos ang ginagawa ko and happy ako sa ginagawa ko," she said.
Last month, Sta. Maria assured that her relationship with Jolo is going strong despite what the Revillas are going through.
"Hindi naman maiiwasan na hindi siya (Jolo) maapektuhan. Siya at ang buong pamilya niya ay kasama sa dalangin ko," she said.
The two have been together since Revilla's stint in the defunct ABS-CBN series "My Binondo Girl" in 2011.
