MANILA - Actor Vandolph Quizon said he is happy for his stepmother, Zsa Zsa Padilla, who is dating again.
Vandolph is one of the sons of Padilla's late partner, comedy king Dolphy Quizon.
In an interview with ABS-CBNnews.com at the sidelines of the press conference for the "Be Careful With My Heart" concert on Friday, Vandolph said Padilla deserves to be happy following his father's passing.
Padilla and Dolphy's relationship lasted for over two decades.
"I'm happy for her. Buhay niya 'yon, she needs to be happy din, so okay 'yon. At least nahanap na niya 'yung kung saan siya sasaya ulit," Vandolph said.
"Yes, yes, of course [I wish her happiness]," he added.
Dolphy died in July 2012 after years of battling chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
Two of his 18 children are with Padilla -- Zia and adopted daughter Nicole.
Early this year, Padilla confirmed that she is dating architect Conrad Onglao.
Meanwhile, Vandolph said the Quizon family will have a family mass and a mini concert this month to mark the second death anniversary of Dolphy.
"Sa July 10 magkakaroon ng family mass sa Heritage, sa puntod ng dad ko. Sa July 25th magkakaroon ng family concert sa Marikina Sports Complex, magkakaroon ng movies, si erpat ipapalabas. Magkakaroon ng mini concert ang mga Quizon at special guests," he said.
