MANILA, Philippines – Singer Joey Albert said she is one with the whole nation in praying for the fast recuperation of Philippines’ King of Comedy Dolphy.

Dolphy was Albert’s leading man in the comedy film “May Pulis, May Pulis sa Ilalim ng Tulay.”
In an interview with ABS-CBN News, Albert said she has never met a gentleman like Dolphy and she is hoping that he gets better soon.
While she already resides in Canada, Albert said she has been following the news about the veteran comedian’s condition.
“His mentoring was inspiring . Nasusundan ko ang medical condition niya. To Tito Dolphy and Zsa Zsa (Padilla), I am praying for you,” she said.
Albert recorded several hit songs in the 1980s including “Tell Me”, “I Remember the Boy” and “Iisa Pa Lamang”
Albert and her family moved to Canada in the 1990s. She is currently in the country for the '70s and '80s inspired "Relieved" concert to be held at the Music Museum.
Albert is set to take the concert stage along with singers Eugene Villaluz, Pat Castillo, Ding Mercado and Jacqui Magno. – from a report by Mario Dumaual, ABS-CBN News
