MANILA - The housemates of "Pinoy Big Brother" were in for a different challenge with the entry of several children whom they have to teach a nursery rhyme before the end of the week.
In the July 1 episode of the reality show, 5 children were welcomed by their respective guardians into the famous yellow house.
Vickie Rushton and Daniel Matsunaga were assigned to 5-year-old Miguel, while Joshua Garcia and Jane Oineza were tasked to look after Tino, also 5. Alonzo, 4, has guardians Loisa Andalio and Fourth Pagotan.
Maris Racal and Fifth Pagotan, meanwhile, welcomed 4-year-old Reese. A guest in the last Teen edition of "Pinoy Big Brother," 5-year-old Bree returned to the reality show, this time with Cheridel Alejandrino and Manolo Pedrosa as her guardians.
While the housemates were excited to welcome their little guests, they did not expect them to come in bursting with energy.
Daniel and Vickie had to run after the restless Miguel, as did Loisa and Fourth with Alonzo.
The effect of having children inside the house, however, was different for Cheridel, who, in an earlier episode, broke down in tears as she admitted missing her only child more than two weeks into her stint as a housemate.
It remains to be seen if the housemates will be successful in teaching the kids to perform their composition -- complete with dance steps.
"Pinoy Big Brother: All In" airs weeknights on Primetime Bida, and on Saturdays and Sundays as part of ABS-CBN's Yes! Weekend line-up. Afternoon updates are also aired via "Uber" on weekdays.
