MANILA - Evicted "Pinoy Big Brother" housemate Nichole Baranda admitted that there was an instance when she "backstabbed" or spoke ill of celebrity housemate Jane Oineza.

In a live interview on "Aquino & Abunda Tonight" on Monday, the 15-year-old from Makati candidly affirmed when asked if she ever backstabbed Oineza during her stay inside the famous yellow house.

"I did," Baranda said, getting an amused reaction from Kris Aquino.

"Ay! You did! She's so honest! Nakakaloka!" the co-host said.

Baranda clarified: "I did, but after that, I learned my lesson."

Asked to recall how she backstabbed Oineza, the former housemate said, "Me and Loisa (Andalio) were talking about her behind her back, but she would go in the room, then we would be quiet."

One such incident, which was shown in a primetime telecast of the reality show, happened during the time when Oineza was the object of ire of her fellow housemates over her supposed "attitude problem."

In the girls' bedroom, an annoyed Baranda ranted about her frustration with Oineza, who she described as wanting to "make everything about her."

Baranda was referring to Oineza requesting the girls to include her in their conversations to help her avoid Joshua Garcia, whose apparent closeness with Oineza had become a cause of concern for the older housemates.

At the time, Baranda noted that Oineza could easily avoid Garcia if she wanted to, and would not have to enlist the help of others if she were sincere with her pronouncement that she had no feelings for Garcia.

It was also Baranda who quipped, "Ano 'to, PBB: Jane Edition?" which, at one point, became a trending topic on micro-blogging site Twitter.

"But after two days, I confronted her na," Baranda said in her interview on Monday, referring to a conversation she later had with Oineza airing her concerns.

Explaining why she can readily admit this, Baranda said, "I'm confident to say it because I know that I learned from it, and I made it up to her."

In more recent episodes of "Pinoy Big Brother," Baranda and Oineza were seen to be closer. The young actress also appeared to be one of the more emotional housemates when Baranda's eviction was announced on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Baranda also admitted that teen housemate Manolo Pedrosa had asked her out on a date. She explained that they had been "getting to know each other" before her eviction, and that the 16-year-old from Quezon City had even expressed his intention to meet her mom, TV host Phoemela Baranda.
