Ara says she envies other showbiz siblings
MANILA, Philippines – Amid their much-publicized feud, actress Ara Mina admitted she misses her younger sister Cristine Reyes.

Mina could not hold her tears back as she nodded and said "yes" when asked if she misses her sister.
She said she still loves her sister despite their bitter tiff, which she has since brought to court.
“Hindi naman po mawawala 'yun,” she said.
Now more than a month since their sibling spat went public, Mina expressed concern over Reyes feigning strength in the face of court cases hurled against her by the former actress herself.
"Hindi ko alam kung tama ako, pero pinapakita niyang strong siya, pero she's not," Mina told entertainment talk show "Paparazzi" on Saturday.
"Feeling ko 'pag mag-isa lang po siya, umiiyak siya. Hindi mo kailangan mag-pretend. Hindi naman kahinaan sa isang tao 'pag nakita nilang umiyak ka," she added.
Mina tearfully recounted that the day she filed charges against her sister, she vomited because of anxiety and emotional stress.
"Bago ako nag-file noon, nagsuka po ako kasi ang hirap, pero kailangan ko gawin 'to," she said.
In April, Mina slapped Reyes with cases of libel and grave coercion for allegedly maligning her and asking her to turn over an SUV as payment for the remaining P1.8-million balance for a Quezon City townhouse they bought in 2011 for their mother.
The controversial filing of the cases has only served to widen their rift.
Now, Mina said she envies other showbiz siblings whose relationships stay intact despite being in the limelight.
"Nakakalungkot kasi sabik ako na -- lalo na pareho kaming nasa showbiz. Naiingit ako 'pag nakikita ko si Anne Curtis at si Jasmine, si Toni at si Alex, si Vina at si Shaina. Sana ganoon kami," Mina said.
Despite feeling hurt from their worsening situation, and Reyes having publicly apologized, Mina said she still plans to pursue the cases she filed against her sister.
"Naniniwala naman ako na magkakaayos kami. May purpose si God kung bakit nangyayari 'to. I'm still praying kung iu-urong ko pa 'yung kaso, pero for now hindi pa po, tuloy pa rin po," Mina said.
