MANILA, Philippines – Actor Piolo Pascually shrugged off persistent rumors romantically linking him to his “Dahil sa Pag-ibig” co-star Cristine Reyes.

Actor Piolo Pascual

In an interview with Push.com.ph, Pascual was all praises for Reyes, saying that she is a beautiful and talented young actress.

Napakasensitive, ang dali niyang maapektuhan, ang dali niyang madala,” he said.

“Ang liit ng baywang niya. Kapag kinakausap mo, sabi ko, ‘Ang sexy ng batang ‘to!’ Ang sexy lang tapos ang ganda. Talagang walang pores, tapos kapag tumingin, walang effort.

Pascual, however, maintained that there is nothing romantic between them as he is also good friends with Reyes’ boyfriend, actor Rayver Cruz.

“Siyempre lalabas at lalabas naman ang totoo. I think they’re (Reyes and Cruz) still together. Rayver and I are friends so hindi naman mawawala yung asaran sa ASAP. You see them, yun na yun,” he explained.

New relationship

Meanwhile, Pascual admitted that he is also open to get into another relationship after his much-publicized break-up with actress KC Concepcion.

But since he has not found his special someone yet, the actor would like to focus on his showbiz career.

I am happy where I am. I am able to do a lot of things. So if it’ll be given, it’ll be given in God's time,” he said.

Asked how he gets through persistent intrigues being thrown at him, the actor said: “It’s part of the trade. The most important thing is having the right faith.

Pascual also made it clear that he harbors no ill feelings toward anyone.

“I can safely say na may peace akong natutulog kapag gabi. Okay ako,” he said.

Pascual and Reyes' series, "Dahil Sa Pag-Ibig," is set to air its final episode on Friday, June 29.

The soap is part of ABS-CBN's primetime block.
