MANILA - The Blind Auditions of "The Voice Kids" has come to an end. The teams are complete and the competition now steps up a gear with The Battles set to air this weekend.
The superstar coaches -- Sarah Geronimo, Lea Salonga, and Bamboo Manalac -- will start the second leg of the talent search with 18 young artists their respective teams.
Each coach will need to choose only six hopefuls who will advance to The Sing-Offs, where each team will be trimmed down to the last two members.
With The Battles kicking off on Saturday -- Team Lea will be the first to field artists -- ABS-CBNnews.com compiled some of the most memorable performances from the Blind Auditions.
In no particular order, these audition videos have been the most shared on our site, the most talked-about on social media, or with the most number of views on the official YouTube page of "The Voice Kids."
1. Jimboy Garcia (Team Lea) - Faithfully
Garcia, who hails from Paniqui, was the first ever "The Voice Kids" hopeful to turn all three chairs this season. His soaring voice immediately left a mark on the coaches, who were quick to heap praise on his consistency, quality, and the maturity he displayed in his vibrato.
2. Grace Alade (Team Lea) - Try It On My Own
Alade, a 14-year-old Rizal native, was one of the last contestants to turn all three chairs. Her performance prompted a standing ovation from Manalac, while Geronimo approached the young singer afterwards to ask for her autograph.
3. Juan Karlos Labajo (Team Bamboo) - Grow Old With You
Labajo may not have "the strongest voice" in the competition, but his charm and wit have placed him firmly as one of the wild cards and a fan favorite. After his performance, the 13-year-old from Cebu had the coaches and the studio audience laughing and applauding his quips.
4. Darren Espanto (Team Sarah) - Domino
Espanto, who came from Canada just to join the competition, didn't waste any time leaving his mark. His rendition of Jessie J's pop hit had both Manalac and Geronimo dancing, securing his spot in The Battles as one of the favorites.
5. Angel Aguilera (Team Lea) - Halo
Aguilera, a 14-year-old from Cavite, had the coaches swooning over her cover of the Beyonce hit. Manalac labeled her as a "complete performer," while Salonga said her voice is one of the best she has heard so far in the competition.
6. Echo Claridad (Team Lea) - Too Much Heaven
This 8-year-old from Bacolod immediately got the interest of Salonga and Geronimo, and later Manalac with his soulful and faithful cover of the Bee Gees classic. Claridad surprised everyone with his unusual song choice and impressed with how effortlessly he hit the band's iconic vocal style.
7. Lyca Gairanod (Team Sarah) - Halik
She may be the youngest (and smallest) contestant to make it through the Blind Auditions, but hers was definitely one of the more memorable performances. Gairanod, a 9-year-old from Cavite, was barely two lines in with her powerful rendition of the classic, when Geronimo quickly turned for her.
8. Nathan Bautista (Team Bamboo) - Don't Stop Believing
Bautista, an 8-year-old also from Cavite, was the competition's fastest three-chair turner. He managed to impress Manalac, Salonga, and Geronimo without even finishing the first line of the Journey classic. After his performance, Salonga even jumped out of her seat and rushed to the little boy to give him a hug. "Sorry, a little overwhelmed," she said.
9. Darlene Vibares (Team Lea) - Girl on Fire
"Oh my God!" This was Salonga's reaction after hearing the 10-year-old's take on the Alicia Keys hit. Moments after her performance aired, she quickly became an internet darling with her name topping worldwide Twitter trends. Her audition video has also garnered more than one million views on YouTube -- ranking it third among the most watched Blind Auditions performances online.
10. Kyle Berdino (Team Sarah) - We Can't Stop
Berdino, one of the last contestants to turn three chairs in the competition, had no qualms about who she wanted as her coach. A self-confessed Geronimo fan, she quickly picked the singer-actress as her mentor after wowing with her rendition of the Miley Cyrus hit.
