MANILA, Philippines -- An island may be among the latest grand purchases of television host Willie Revillame, according to action star Robin Padilla.

A film collaboration between the two was at one point in the offing, but Padilla said their busy schedules got in the way in bringing the project to fruition.
"Si pareng Willie, wala paring tigil sa kabibili ng island eh," Padilla said, when quizzed on the status of his on-screen team-up with the former "Wowowee" main man.
If the controversy-hounded host has indeed ventured into purchasing a whole island, it won't be Revillame's first major acquistion.
In 2008, during his "Wowowee" heydays, Revillame purchased a 94-footer yacht he named M/Y Wow Cruiser, which reportedly cost between P50 million to P70 million.
The following year, Revillame made his first major real estate venture, when he invested around P600 million for the construction of a condominium across the ABS-CBN compound, which would later be known as the Wil Tower Mall.
Amid the controversial brouhaha involving his on-air tirades against a radio host in 2010, numerous reports surfaced that Revillame was at risk of losing his billion-peso contract with ABS-CBN, which at the time was reportedly pegged at around P2 billion.
After his network transfer in 2011, Revillame hosted a variety game show in the same vein as "Wowowee."
It was during this time when Revillame went on grand purchase spree, according to entertainment columnist Ricky Lo.
In his column "Funfare," Lo said Revillame bought himself a private plane which cost P200 million. In the same year, Revillame had also reportedly purchased the vacant lot beside Wil Tower Mall's, and bought "hectares of property" in Tagaytay where he planned to build a resort.

Revillame now continues to host a game show, and his busy schedule has put off his big-screen project with Padilla.
"Busy pa si Willie, busy din ako," Padilla said, when asked on the progress of their movie.
If their collaboration pushes through, it won't be the first time Padilla's and Revillame's name will be credited under one title.
In 2010, following Revillame's abrupt transfer, Padilla took hosting duties for "Wowowee," which would later be re-formatted to "Pilipinas Win na Win."
