MANILA – The younger brother of Gerald Anderson is now ready to venture into show business and follow the footsteps of the “Dyesebel” actor.

In an interview with ABS-CBN News’ Marie Lozano, Ken Anderson said he was inspired by his brother’s achievements.

“I guess I was just inspired from what he does and what he has. I guess it inspired me so he called me and said, ‘Why don’t you come to the Philippines and try it here?’ I said alright,” he said.

Ken said acting won’t be a problem for him because he took up drama classes while he was in the United States.

“I fell in love with acting and when my brother became an actor, I was like I’m coming over there and I will do what you’re doing,” he said.

Ken said he also won’t mind if people compare him to Gerald.

“If I could be compared to my brother, it feels like it’s a good thing because for me he’s a good actor. To be compared to that, I’ll take it any day,” he said.

But Ken admitted that he needs to work on his Tagalog first.

Asked who among the local actors and actresses he wants to work with, Ken said, “I know Anne Curtis is kind of too old to work with me so probably Jasmine, her younger sister. I really like her.”

Ken said he is just fortunate that Gerald is there to guide him as he learns the ropes of showbiz.

“I am not really used to this kind of stuff, being around so much famous people and so much pretty people. I’m adjusting. My brother’s really giving me help and tips about it,” he said.
