MANILA – Coco Martin said he has yet to talk to Nora Aunor after it was rumored that the veteran actress owes him a huge sum of money – which turned out to be not true.
In an interview with ABS-CBN News during the thanksgiving party of "Maybe This Time," Martin said he never had the chance to sit down with Aunor and settle the issue personally with her, adding that what is important is they both know the truth.
"Actually wala pa lang sigurong definite time.
Despite this, Martin assured he reached out to Aunor via text message when he first learned about the issue.
In an interview last month, Martin said: "Nag-text ako kay Ate Guy.
The actor lamented said how people spread rumors to ruin a celebrity's reputation.
Ako honestly, ayaw kong patulan ang mga ganyan," he said.
Martin said the only reason he spoke about the matter was because he wanted to clear Aunor’s name.
