MANILA, Philippines – “Pilipinas Got Talent Season 2” (PGT) finalists never imagined they would be noticed even before the grand night of the ABS-CBN talent show.
In an interview with ABS-CBN News, the show’s youngest finalist, DJP Trio, said they consider everyone as strong contenders.
“Lahat po sila magagaling at isa na po kami doon,” Trio said.
The finalists said the talent search has already changed their lives because more people recognize them now,
The group Free Stylers, on the other hand, hopes that PGT will pave the way for them to reach their dream.
“Manalo o matalo po kami basta po maging dancer lang po kami sa TV,” they said.
This was also shared by finalist Happy Feet.
“Okay na po sa amin ang ‘di manalo, kasi nakatungtong na kami sa pangarap namin na makatungtong sa Pilipinas Got Talent,” a member of the group said.
Other finalists could not deny the fact that they want to bring home the award and be known as the second grand winner of PGT.
While most of them entered the competition because they want to help their families financially, they believe people should not vote for them only because of compassion.
“Hindi ka naman po sumali sa Pilipinas Got Talent para kaawaan ng tao. Sumali po ako para pakita ang talent ko,” said contestant Angel.
All the finalists agreed that PGT is still about giving recognition to who is the most talented. – Report from Marie Lozano, ABS-CBN News
