MANILA - A year after they got married, celebrity couple Maricar Reyes and Richard Poon still don't have plans of having a baby.
In a live interview on "Aquino & Abunda Tonight" on Friday, Reyes cited her difficult schedule of being a regular cast member of an ongoing TV series.
Reyes plays the villain to Bea Alonzo's character in ABS-CBN's "Sana Bukas Ang Kahapon."
"We think it's best na hindi ako nag-te-taping, kasi 'yung schedule ko of having a show is very difficult for when you're growing a child," she said.
For now, Reyes said she and Poon are enjoying their first years living under one roof.
The actress explained that they continue to discover new things about each other, and are learning how to handle disagreements.
"Yeah, we are [still discovering things about each other]. Katulad nang... Akala ko dati OC (obsessive compulsive) ako. Sobrang mas OC pala siya, in every sense, every detail. Magaling siya sa colors ng suits niya, or how clean the table is," she said, laughing.
"I was very surprised because I thought I was OC myself. Pero siya pala mas OC," Reyes added.
The former "Honesto" star also revealed some activities she shares with Poon now that they are married. "We love to travel together. We love driving late at night. We love walking, talking late at night. We're night people, usually," she said.
Admittedly with challenges in their relationship, as with most couples, Reyes added that she has "learned that I have to learn from him, and he has to learn from me."
