MANILA, Philippines -- Feisty talent manager Annabelle Rama lambasted former actress Nadia Montenegro anew on the microblogging site Twitter.
In her official Twitter account on Monday, Rama claimed that Montenegro is threatening her supporters by saying that she will be jailed.
Rama reiterated that the Quezon City Regional Trial Court (Branch 92) only issued a warrant of arrest against her after she failed to attend the court hearing last week since she was in the United States at the time.
"Uulitin ko, kaya ako nagkaroon ng warrant dahil di ako nakasipot sa hearing last Monday, June 11," she explained to her Twitter followers.
"Anong kinalaman ng pagka-vindicated mo 'kuno.' Nakakahiya ka, feeling mo panalo ka na! Di pa naguumpisa ang laban natin. Pano ka nanalo? Sa panaginip mo?" she said.
Rama said Montenegro is now getting desperate to get back at her.
Rama also scored Montenegro for crying on TV after the arrest warrant was issued.
"Nawala lang ako ng 8 days, paiyak-iyak ka pa sa TV! Gusto mong makuha ang sympathy ng taong bayan?" she said.
May you rest in peace!"
While many observers dismiss the issue as purely "showbiz," Montenegro earlier said the case is very important to her family because it had affected their lives.
“Sa iba this is just a showbiz issue, this is just tsismis. But to us it's our lives, pangalan namin," she said.
Montenegro had charged Rama with libel and unjust vexation over the talent manager's alleged defamatory statements about her which were posted on the microblogging site Twitter.
Montenegro said Rama called her "piggy" on Twitter several times and alleged that she had an affair with another man and is unable to pay her bills, among others.
